about BMac

The Bacchus Marsh Arts Council began in 2014 with a group of people who wanted to see Bacchus Marsh become a regional hub for arts and culture connecting the community.

In the last few year BMACI has become more and more involved and committed to the B-Mac Gallery rather than being an overarching group trying to support all the arts. BMACI now aims to provide regional professional and non-professional artists an affordable opportunity to display and sell their work.

We are working to build a community space for our diverse community to experience the joy of creating and sharing their art. We welcome First Nation artists to join us in fellowship, and share their culture with us. We do not have a permanent home yet, but we will.

Our aim will always be to provide an affordable space that the community can come, and create together.

dare to dream

We are aiming to have a wonderful gallery in a highly visible site. Within our  premises we will plan a workshop for classes, and a place for artists to bring their  work along and work together just for fun.

If space allows, we would like to include an outdoor area for display and create community art projects. It isn’t just a dream, it is what we are working for!
